Quick Tips to Help Grow Your Business and Yourself!

Tips busy women in business can read in under a minute and use for years to come…

“Am I working my warm market?”

I have yet to meet anyone who is truly excited to be working their business by walking into a business they’ve never been before or, calling a total stranger on the telephone to ask them to try their product or service.

I’d much rather work my warm market. What’s a warm market? It’s someone who knows you personally or professionally or has used your product/service.

Let me ask you this: How often do you ask for referrals and testimonials from your warm market? Wouldn’t it be easier to work with your warm market than to go cold calling?

Testimonial Postcards

I’ve heard it said many times, stories sell. But for me, the proof is in the pudding.

When I was working my network marketing business I began sending out testimonial postcards. And the proof started happening. Like clockwork, after each mailing I started receiving calls or emails from clients or their referrals who wanted solutions to the same challenges.

I sent the postcards out a couple times a year. I used the same color all the time, bright yellow. When they saw the postcard, they knew it’s from me.

I used cover stock paper and ran them off at the local copy store. Mine were half a page each and needed regular postage stamp. I figure it costs about .75 cents for each card, not including my time to create and write them.

The postcards also generated referrals from the women who gave me testimonials. They were sharing them with their friends and their friends wanted to try my products too.
